PROJECT LEADER IT - PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PMO) Reporting to the Vice-President, Information Systems and Project Management Office, and as part of the management team, your main responsibility will be to manage the Project Management Office and the portfolio of information system related projects. In addition, if necessary, you will become a key player in the life cycle of projects related to business or even strategic initiatives. JOB DESCRIPTION- Develop and maintain the portfolio, including the budget, while participating in general planning for projects and respecting approval requirements; - In accordance with Project Management Office standards and BRP methodology, establish and manage project governance to guarantee approval, implementation and validation according to established criteria, and ensure projects are managed on time and within budget, and meet quality and success requirements; - Continuously improve all components of the BRP Project Management Office, including a training course on PMO processes and tools; - Work with relevant managers by offering them direct support in the allocation of resources and definition/communication of priorities; - Prepare and present project status updates to different stakeholders; - Supervise the change in PMO processes, policies, tools and templates, and define best practices in project management. QUALIFICATIONS- College or university graduate in a relevant field; - You have at least: - 15 years of experience in project management and 10 years of experience in a program management role for large-scale multidisciplinary projects; - 5 years of team management experience; - Knowledge of the inner workings of a Project Management Office; - PMI certification is an asset; - Bilingualism is essential, and you must be willing to travel on occasion. APTITUDES AND SKILLS- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within organizational limits and with all hierarchical levels; - High level of problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as excellent planning, priority identification and team motivation abilities. You are also recognized as being an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills; - Organized with strong interpersonal, negotiation and customer relationship management skills; - Experience with project and application life cycles; implementation of governance solutions.
